My name is Andrew, and I am a wedding film maker and photographer based in the Midlands and shooting all over the country. I’m a husband, father to two beautiful daughters, and big brother to my two (not so) little sisters.
Here’s a few fun facts about me:
- Im a big list maker. I love lists, they make things happen!
- I haven’t always wanted to film weddings, there was point, as a little boy, when I wanted nothing more than to be a bus driver!!
- Pepsi, not Coke.
- Tea, not coffee.
- Its not a bacon sandwich if it doesn’t have brown sauce on it.
- Pizza should never, ever have fruit on it. Ever!
- I used to work for a local radio station.
- I used to play the bass guitar in a band, I even had long hair at the time!
When I’m not at weddings you will often find me in my favourite place, at home with my wife and two daughters. I met my wife in 2009 and convinced her to walk down the aisle and meet me at the far end, in 2012, followed by a wonderful honeymoon in California. The wedding was a magical day, full of love and happiness, surrounded by family and friends, and we’d do it again in a heartbeat! In 2013 our first daughter arrived and life as we knew it had changed forever, and we had only just begun to find our feet again when our second daughter arrived in 2016, when life got just a little bit crazier. Those two girls are amazing and make me so happy and proud every single day.
I was keen to have our wedding filmed, those memories can only be captured once. The film was a nice memory of the day, but I knew I could make even better films than that.
Now I want take those skills and get to know you, and capture your big love story on film. When it comes to weddings, I’m relaxed and easy going, a big romantic at heart, you may well find me wiping away a tear on your big day, especially when there’s a good speech going on (but shh… lets just call it hayfever!). I love getting to know my couples and finding out about your stories and what is important to you. This all helps me to focus on the interactions, capturing the details, and all the little things that add up and make a great wedding day.
A marriage is an opportunity to spend every day with your best friend, and a wedding is the celebration of the moment of this commitment… a day that has been talked about and planned for months. I’d love to get to know your story and create the perfect memory for you, a film you will want to watch time and time again.
